Talking about his continuing fight with Eminem, Benzino displayed an unexpectedly strong emotional response.
The two rappers have been at odds since Benzino accused Eminem in 2002 of stealing hip-hop culture.
In 2022, their disagreements erupted once more upon Em's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
When Coi Leray, Benzino's daughter, defended Eminem shortly after, it didn't help the situation.
Benzino remembered the beginnings of the conflict during a guest appearance on a recent episode of Drink Champs, which aired on Saturday.
Benzino spoke the words, "Fuck Eminem and fuck everybody down with Eminem," at 46:11. "This is my issue—n***a won't look at me."
As the conversation went on, Benzino became more and more fervent in his criticism of Eminem's hip-hop credentials.
He called him a "Rap Elvis" and related incidents of bigotry and violence he had personally seen while living in Boston.
Later in the conversation, Benzino's tone became emotional as he sobbed and declared, "I have nothing against Eminem."
