Porsche the ‘strongest it has ever been’ in Qatar WEC round, says Estre

- In the lead-up to the 1812-kilometer season opening in Qatar on Saturday, Porsche has dominated every session thus far.

-  In Prologue and Free Practice 1, the factory Penske team and the customer Jota squad topped the charts.

- All five of the Porsche 963s finished inside the top seven on Thursday afternoon in rather warm and windy circumstances.

- The only cars standing in the way of the venerable sportscar racing brand's dominance at the front of the pack were Ferrari and Cadillac.

- Along with Andre Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor in the #6 Porsche, 

-the German driver told Autosport that "we look like we are the strongest we have ever been in this championship." 

- "We will undoubtedly avoid being overconfident too soon. I'm confident the others can keep up with the pace. 

- "The car is great; it's a pleasure to drive. Even from the way we look, this is already better than some of the tracks we listen to."
